That evil, rotund Dr. Robotnik is at it again! This time, he's constructed a new island base called Eggman Island and intends to use it to conquer the world. Inevitably, Sonic the Hedgehog, the biggest quill in his side since college, is hot on Eggman's tail, but little does our hero know that Robotnik has prepared for his arrival. Now, Sonic and two of his friends, Ray the Flying Squirrel and Mighty the Armadillo, are trapped inside Eggman Island! Can our heroes escape and once again foil Eggman's plans?
